The hubbub in my life

Dear husband,

I love you but over the past few days I have realised that cheese is just not one of the ingredients that I binge on, so this letter may not necessarily be full of love.

There is love but let's face it but there are a lot of things without which I could love you more for. It's nothing unusual, just the usual routine stuff that I rant about you know. But can you REALLY blame me for rolling my eyes when your shoes decide to rest right in the middle of the room, or the toilet seat is left up or how the bathroom light is always and forever on, no matter what time of the day or night. I love a beautiful sight and the cupboard door left open is just not one of it or your clothes are strewn all over the place. I think the baby's mess is enough for now? Right?
Aah!
And I would have run away you know but I haven't and didn't only because Joy Sangha , you make me laugh and I say that in a good way. I have not known a day, since I met you that when we haven't laughed together.

You are one those good ones you know, the kinds that entertain the baby while mummy sleeps. The ones who help with household chores. The ones who would cook a gajar mattar for the first time in their life and brag about being in partnership with Sanjeev (the chef). The ones who enjoy washing soiled nappies like actually enjoy! And the ones who do the laundry. The ones who throw their clothes about with a mischievous grin ONLY because it annoys me. The ones who claims to have learnt how to PMS and would copy me and say, "aye Sumira none of your antics today yaar, Mera CMS (cranky male syndrome) chal Raha hai "
The ones who despite all your "poor tortured husband" jokes would still get me ice cream. The ones who would just not take life too seriously.

Joy Sangha! I am grateful every day for nothing about you is husband like ! And you're still the friend I married.

Always always
Sumira
